The wheels are already turning for BHS Alumni Banquet 2015. Were already considering a newsletter starting with a mailing list to all who attended last nights banquet. Its basically starting as a Thank You note to the attendees of the banquet and telling them of our plans to begin holding fund raises. In immediate consideration would be a night of fun featuring the Cactus Bunch who entertained at our banquet last night. They were received as one of two BEST weve ever had. Also in connection with the group would be a ham, bean & cornbread dinner open to the public. This will hopefully help to unify the split in the village since the formation of OVHS school system in 2002. The newsletter would involve asking for suggestions for fundraisers as well as other recommendations. We feel this will keep us in contact throughout the year and get more involved.
