The whole Pentecostal movement was started for something different than dead religion, primarily its sensationalism...with people who were dissatisfied and but mesmerized...who still are with it more than the truth of Gods word. They tack enough scripture on to it to make it seem plausible but it is nothing more than a fleshy apparition that has no biblical validity. And what does not fit their beliefs, they alter to fit their scenario of beliefs. Believe me, I have been there, was a part of it all, and done that in my search for the truth but left it long ago. My prayer for them is that God may open their eyes as He has done for me. There are deceived people across the spectrum but not a one of them knows it or would ever entertain the idea that they might be wrong, as even those whose eyes have been opened can attest. Deception comes in all colors [denominations, systems of idolatrous beliefs, and configuration.] God is going to separated His sheep from the goats...who look like sheep. When you suffer exclusion and persecution for the words sake, is that not what Jesus was talking about to His followers? Be eternally thankful if you can see that, because very few can.
