The wife & I moved into an undetached Trust unit which hadnt been occupied for a couple of years so we accepted the place without question or any maintenance which couldve been done while it was unoccupied. Now that the wife has had a plastic & titanium knee replacement weve had modifications ordered by SA Health OTs which must be taxing on the Housing budget. To our horror, theyve charged us $226:15 for flyscreen replacements even after they hadnt bothered doing up the place before we moved in! Could anybody else believe that? Frankly, I dont care that it is Public Housing as ALL rental housing should be fitted with shower, bath & toilet handle bars for the frail & disabled. They should also have wheelchair access ramps too. However, as a side note, I could never bring myself to voting Liberal but with Weatherill as Premier & as self appointed Treasurer Im beginning to Holler For A Marshall as we need a new battery in SA.
