The winner of the unofficial Player of the Season award is super Steeeeeeeeve Sidwell, with 46 votes! By a breathtaking forty-vote margin, the ginger ninja (pictured here sticking a thumping volley past Crystal Palace back in October) has been proclaimed the best player of the season (albeit one in which there have been precious few candidates for the accolade). But his wholehearted performances, goalscoring return (top scorer, on eight for the season and with every chance of double figures) and all-round battling qualities have seen him win the hearts of Fulham fans up and down the land. By way of a prize, a copy of this picture will be printed out, glued to a bit of card, have some sparkly glitter spread on it to spell out Super Steve, put in an envelope marked for his attention, and mailed to Fulham FC. Honorable mentions to Lewis Holtby (6 votes) and Phillipe Senderos (Four votes!), who were second and third placed respectively.
