The wonderful news is that our Lord is a God of mercy, and He responds to repentance. Billy Graham Micah 7:18 NKJV Who is a God like You, Pardoning iniquity And passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy. Whom among you deserves mercy and grace for the transgressions you willfully and purposely committed? None of us. Whom among you would rob God, as if it were possible, and deny those who are less fortunate their daily bread? All of us. We are all sinners, saved only by the mercy and grace of God, with out Him there is nothing, and without knowing His one and only Son, Jesus the Christ our Lord, there is nothing for us beyond the grave, except for pain, misery and agony. God loves us enough to be merciful, it gives Him great joy to forgive the repented heart. We cant help who we are or where we come from, but we can pick up His word and follow His footsteps for our life. We will never be perfect in this world, because we were born into sin. The newborn babies, as I write this devotional, are born into a world that has fallen; into a sinful world with many traps just lying in silence for them to fall into, and some of them dont even make it out of the womb..............................But where sin abounds, Gods mercy and grace abounds much more. It doesnt matter how dark the world gets around us, because it will never be able to blot out the light of Christ in your heart. We serve an awesome God, in all His splendor, He is merciful and just, pouring mercy and grace to those who arent afraid to get on bended knees and admit their guilt. It is the act of obedience that allows His mercy and grace to enter your heart, for what we have done is not hidden from His eyes, but once confessed, He chooses to blot it from His remembrance
