The work I have the honor of doing with my clients, and the beautiful conversation in which I get to regularly participate with colleagues, is around the subject of awakening to our True Self and creating lives and businesses being fully alive. I have experienced first hand and witnessed in my clients the liberation that comes from being fully authentic and free and the utter fulfillment that comes from living and loving with abandon. Initially, I attempted to write my book, Ill Have What Shes Having: Becoming the Woman You Want To Be By Loving The Woman You Are with minimal reference to God, as a way to avoid losing an audience who might otherwise be open to the message and need it. However, as time has gone on, I have found it virtually impossible. I have no desire to publish a book into the marketplace that is a shell-- full of empty words, concepts and practices. Even while guiding others in the process of learning to honor themselves, to listen to their hearts, to not discount the inner promptings and desires, to release shame and self-judgement, I keep butting into the truth so eloquently stated by St. Augustine: God is closer to your soul than you are yourself. Therefore, our true self cannot be discovered without discovering God. That is where true transformation, fulfilment and freedom lies.
