The world as we know it has changed forever. For the worst. Its like some bad apocalyptic sci-fi movie. No one, anywhere, is safe anymore. Schools, movie theaters, malls and now hospitals where lives are being saved. I find myself scanning the room, or store or whatever public place I walk into. Everyone looks suspect to me. Its like the human race collectivity became unhinged. When will it end? It wont. Thats the sad truth. Its too far gone and is clear mental illness has been so tightly tucked away that these men and women who are in desperate need of care have no options. So they turn outward, killing innocent people and then themselves. You think mental illness is just situational? You think its controllable? Tell that to Dr. Davidsons family or the shooters family who also killed himself. Mental illness is here to stay and its powerful.
