The world is run by those that show up. Today is New Yorks Democratic Primary. To my Facebook friends who live in NY and are registered Democrats I beg of you two things: First, please do some research and look into the platform of Zephyr Teachout who is running against Cuomo for the Democratic nomination. Im confident you will find that she is a nice alternative to our current governor who is more interested in his long-term political ambitions and catering to the super-rich than working for the ordinary New Yorker. Second, please take the time to vote today. I beg you - vote!!! I have yet to hear a New Yorker speak excitedly about Cuomo. I think those that would normally just pull the lever for the Democrat they recognize will stay home today, opening the door for those that will show up for change. It could happen but it wont if thinking people dont get out and vote.
