The world lost a beacon of light, love and friendship yesterday. Jon David Austin, “Chef Bluz”, “JD” or just plain “Chef” a friend to everyone, a loving Father, Husband, Brother, and Uncle took his wings and flew to eternal peace. I know that he had no plans to take leave of us because he wanted nothing more than to be with David, Tracey and all of his family and friends on earth for all time. JD is part of all of us. He changed so many people with his wit, humor, compassion, music, food, and general love of living each and every moment. JD’s strong, powerful, loving wife Tracey and his sweet, innocent, intelligent son David and all his family and extended family and friends need your support now more than ever. As we all struggle with the loss of such a great gift to this world, let’s uphold JD’s legacy by doing what he always showed us: Hold a door for someone, smile to EVERYONE, sing and dance like no one is watching, be compassionate, and make someone feel better, if even for a moment and live for each moment because that is his love continues.
