The world lost a great man yesterday. My father was the most selfless person I have ever met. He would give you his last dollar or the shirt off his back if you needed it. Money was immaterial to him and have away fortunes helping those around him. The world dawned a little less bright today. My Dad was a truck driver for most of his life. He came from the era when truck drivers truly were the Knights of the Road. I remember riding cross country with him when I was barely tall enough to see out the windshield while standing on the passenger floor in his old White cab over. He lived the open road, and Im thankful that he was able to continue driving up to the very end. If any of you have pictures of my Dad, I would love for you to share them here.
