The world says: Dress like the celebrities you see on TV. Starve yourself to look skinny. Drive the nicest cars. Wear the nicest jewelry. Pop pills and smoke to escape reality. Get wasted every weekend. A sober life is a boring life. Obsess about having a piece of the American dream. Buy the biggest house you can. Fill it with as much stuff as you can buy. Work to climb the corporate ladder, even if it means not seeing your family during the week. Judge your self-worth by the money you make and the college degrees that hang on your office walls. Spend your life dreaming of a few peaceful years of retirement on a beach. Live for yourself. Its all about you. When you die, its all over anyways. Jesus says: Turn your back on the world and follow me. I dont want to be another middle class clone living an empty life. I choose Jesus. What about you?
