The world will continuously evolve - JAKIM need to adapt and evolve with the times else it will be superceded by events. For one, JAKIM can no longer assume it has the moral high ground and temporal authority to act sesuka hati as todays world of social media has proven that JAKIM is as vulnerable as the next entity - definitely the knives are already out there waiting for the next mis-step / falter to further undermine JAKIMs authority and / or reputation, whats left off it anyway ... Second, JAKIM now need to be responsive and accountable for its action as well as inaction - at the top of the list, embark on a public relations campaign to put right this Cadbury fiasco and subsequently review on urgent basis the SOP etc so that such incidences do not occur again Third, treat your stakeholders with respect ... You should not just take my words on this - do a survey on JAKIMs reputation out there and the findings will surprise you. Good Luck & All The Best ;-)
