The worlds ignored black people. From the Highlands of Mt Hagen, - TopicsExpress

The worlds ignored black people. From the Highlands of Mt Hagen, across the volcanoes and coral reefs of the giant archipelago of Melanesia: New Guinea Island and the nation state of Papua New Guinea, and its outlying provinces...the Solomon Islands, New Caledonia, Vanuatu and all the way east to Fiji (I say east, you might say west). Millions of people. Some of the richest laboratories of language and culture on the planet. Great allies of America and Australia in WWII. So often unmentioned, unknown in discussions of blackness in the Cargo West. One of my African American friends recently reprimanded me that I should never comment on issues involving people of color. I replied, Olsem wanem? https://youtube/watch?v=D2SClTl56og
