The worse thing a parent can do to a child is to condone the child doing the same things that led them (the parent) to a dead end. If it didnt work for you, it wont work for the child. I see so many parents trying to party with their kids and some even encouraging the child to drink and smoke. But the parent doing the encouraging is single and unhappy with no job or a dead in job etc.. I beg people to look at the way their lives have turned out before they encourage their child to travel the same road. The love for my children is tremendous! I want my children to soar way higher than I ever could! There is no part of me that would encourage my children to do wrong. I just cant see me doing that.. The way that Corinthians describes Love in the bible, is not the way some parents these days show their children love. They are actually giving their children another kind of love other than what God describes. And if its not for God.. Its against him.. So I think its safe to say that some parents drive their children closer to satan when the reality of it is, children can find satan all by themselves..
