The writer of Psalm 130:5 in prayer to God is confident in the promise of the Messiahs comning. He is waiting until the appointed time to set things straight. Psalm 130:5 American Standard Version: I wait for Jehovah, my soul doth wait, And in his word do I hope. Psalm 130:5 Common English Bible: I hope, LORD. My whole being hopes, and I wait for Gods promise. Psalm 130:5 Complete Jewish Bible: I wait longingly for ADONAI; I put my hope in his word. Psalm 130:5 Lexham English Bible: I await Yahweh; my soul awaits, and I wait for his word. Good News Translation: I wait eagerly for the Lords help, and in his word I trust. Exodus 26:31-33 “You are to make a curtain of blue thread, purple wool, scarlet material, and fine twisted linen. It will be made with cherubs embroidered on it. 32 You will hang it on four pillars of acacia overlaid with gold. Their hooks are to be of gold. The pillars are set on four socket pedestals of silver. 33 You will hang the curtain under the clasps and bring the ark of the Testimony there within the curtain. The curtain will make a division for you between the Holy and the Most Holy. Hebrews 9:6 After these things were constructed this way, the priests enter the first tent compartment regularly to perform the sacred services; 7 but the high priest enters alone into the second compartment once a year, not without blood, which he offers for himself and for the sins that the people committed in ignorance. 8 Thus the holy spirit makes it clear that the way into the holy place had not yet been revealed while the first tent was standing. 9 This tent is an illustration for the present time, and according to this arrangement, both gifts and sacrifices are offered. However, these are not able to make the conscience of the man doing sacred service perfect. 10 They have to do only with foods and drinks and various ceremonial washings. They were legal requirements concerning the body and were imposed until the appointed time to set things straight. Matthew 27:50, 51 Again Jesus called out with a loud voice and yielded up his spirit. And look! the curtain of the sanctuary was torn in two, from top to bottom, and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split. We are to humble ourselves before God, as guilty in his sight. Let us acknowledge our sinfulness; we cannot justify ourselves, or plead not guilty. It is our unspeakable comfort that there is forgiveness with him, for that is what we need. Jesus Christ is the great Ransom; he is ever an Advocate for us, and THROUGH him we hope to obtain forgiveness. There is forgiveness with thee, not that thou mayest be PRESUMED UPON, but that thou mayest be feared. The fear of God often is put for the whole worship of God. The only motive and encouragement for sinners is this, that there is forgiveness for sin THROUGH Jesus, because our sinful condition prevents our approaching Jehovah. That is why we always pray in Jesuss name. Ephesians 3:11, 12 This is according to the eternal purpose that he formed in connection with the Christ, Jesus our Lord, 12 by means of whom we have this freeness of speech and free access with confidence through our faith in him. Hebrews 10:19-22 Therefore, brothers, since we have boldness for the way of entry into the holy place by the blood of Jesus, 20 which he opened up for us as a new and living way through the curtain, that is, his flesh, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us approach with sincere hearts and complete faith, having had our hearts sprinkled clean from a wicked conscience and our bodies bathed with clean water.
