The writings of Juvehil Aurelius Kae: THE FOLLOWING WAS MY ORIGINAL IDEA ON HOW TO IMPROVE ON THE CODE... With all due respect to the Temple and its people. I took it upon myself, at my Masters request to help improve the Temple with creative ideas, to re-organize the code unto its purest form. Fellow Jedi whom which I have spoken to say that the current Orthodox Code is merely a guideline as opposed to literality. But I feel that our codes and ethics should be literal. They should be completely to the point, without misunderstandings, without having to be deciphered through a labyrinth of thought. On that same note, I feel that the code should not be divided into a series of codes (Orthodox, Additional Lines, and Alternative Version as a rebuttal) they should be fused into one solid body of work, thus CODE and not Various Aspects of Codes. This is simply my personal suggestion to help guide the Knights, Masters, and KMs to see past a metaphorical code of fiction, and bring it down to a code of realityOUR way of life, if you will: There is no emotional imprisonment; there is emotional control There is no ignorance; there is knowledge There are no obsessive passions; there are passions of serenity There are no fears of submission; there is courage There is no tolerable chaos; there is harmony There is no greed; there is moderation There is no spiritual foolishness; there is respect and wisdom There is no death; there is the Force Peace is the objective Through peace, I gain truth Through truth, I gain knowledge Through knowledge, I gain understanding Through understanding, I gain wisdom Through wisdom, I gain focus In focus, I see truth The Will of the Force will guide me The point behind some of these lines is that in a reality based world, there are emotions, there are passions, there are fears and worries, chaos does exist, and there is foolishness and enjoying life in such ways. HOWEVER, as with any religious practice, there is a time and a place for all of that. In addition, there are many various forms of all thats listed. For example: There are calm emotions, emotions of hate, love, peace, anger. Therefore, its safe to say that with all of these emotions, though we experience them as human mortals, we can sum it all up to its purest form and say that we shouldnt be imprisoned by them and let them control our actions.
