The year 2014 has been a great year, my company had its first corporate anniversary in January and during the year I started development on 5 different products. First it was BuyBay Groceries in March, then Ticketry and MoneyCard in September. Chauffr began development in October and this December is when Workery has begun development. Another highlight this year was starting to work for Econet Zimbabwe at the Borrowdale head-office for Econet Services, Im eager to share my ideas on making their services like EcoCash Zimbabwe even better and make them continue to lead the way innovation-wise. In seeing the high-volume transaction potential of my business units, Econet allowed me preferential access to the new payment gateway for EcoCash for paying online in November and Im looking forward to allowing customers in Zimbabwe using any of the services we offer to pay using it since a huge percentage of the unbanked population in the country use this highly convenient mobile money service. One of my final tasks on my schedule is to register my company in London so that I can open a Barclays UK business bank account. This will allow all customers across the globe to pay for any of our services using their Visas, MasterCards, and other major cards. Ive already started the process of registering with Companies House in London and I should get a certificate of Incorporation on Monday. Thereafter I should expect a call from Barclays next week to open the account. That will be enough progress to start the new year on a firm footing. So finally as we go into the year 2015 I will begin by saying a few wise words - our thoughts are powerful, they govern our expectations, our interactions, and ultimately our ability to be successful, so think ahead and into the future. Whatever youre doing should cause the greatest amount of happiness to the greatest amount of people affected by what you do - thats known as utilitarianism. I wish you all a prosperous new year!
