The years at L ‘Ecole des beaux arts (My friends, Fairouz, Mahmoud Darwish, and a lot of “nature morte”) would equip me to live in a Western country as an Arab with identity crisis for the 6 years I spent in Washington DC. Time passed over my stubborn head like a summer cloud where I studied @ the Corcoran School of art, all remember that English was a problem and the 1st war on Iraq just started, too many demonstrations taking place in front of the White House as I walked across the road to school!
