The young Spaniard Suso has enjoyed a solid loan-spell at La Liga strugglers Almeria making 24 out of a possible 26 league appearances. The 20-year-old has been the subject of recent interest from Sevilla but the midfielder made his intentions for next season clear in an interview with El Desmarque. I’m speaking with Liverpool to see if I can extend my contract. Next year they will probably be in the Champions League and it would make me very excited to compete in it. These statements come as a slight surprise to the media in Spain after the youngster stated only a few days prior that he would be happy with another season on loan at Almeria. Almeria have given me the chance to play in the first division and I would not mind at all continuing here one more season, but as I said, it does not depend just on me. Suso signed a contract with Liverpool in 2012 which expires in the summer of 2015. YNWA Z
