The young man and I were discussing my previous post about Dr. Davis. I mentioned that I wondered whether her classmates at Girls High or her family members ever thought when she was a teenager that she would reach such accomplishments and receive such accolades. My sons response, Anne Frank said How true Daddys words were when he said: all children must look after their own upbringing. Parents can only give good advice or put them on the right paths, but the final forming of a persons character lies in their own hands. Wow !!! For this and many reasons, I enjoy being in my sons presence and I often marvel at his thinking. He is so profound.
