#TheNotebook came out 10 years ago. And for a movie set in the 40s a total of 365 letters that Noah wrote to Allie daily would equal to a lot of money these days. Has Noah thought of the cost of stamps while he was writing those letters? That is a question I have yet to solve but on the other hand this was actually the first time I ever watched a movie based on a Nicholas Sparks novel. I would like to thank him for writing such a teary story that everyone both liked and disliked. But when I see romance in the real world its crazy. Seriously real-life romances are far more complicated than that of between Allie and Noah and most of them dont even last. Also, theres another mystery I have to find out. Why is the movie title called The Notebook? I see that James Garner was reading a handwritten story that is probably on a notebook but no one ever mentions a notebook. A better title for the movie should have been called Lots and Lots of Swans because of the waters that lots and lots of swans occupied around the same time Allie and Noahs boat came by. That is a way more symbolic thing than the notebook itself.
