Theme Announcement - the kaapies are taking over lol. Nice to see such overwhelming support from our western cape buddies on the page. the only person thats been missing in action is Seeba. Anyway, like I said on my profile last night, I dont think weve had this much fun in ages. This Guess Where theme has proved to be a winner, an idea I got from the chapmans peak drive pic I had previously posted. I hear Tas may have also used this as her theme in the past when she co-steered the page (cant remember). Anyway, the theme was highly interactive, and we got to see many places in and around SA including other parts of the world, in-keeping with the spirit of the page. This brainchild of mine will reach its 2nd year this December since I inititated it and theres been no looking back ever since. The times have changed and some of the stalwarts who were part of my consultation process have moved on with their lives, but I salute them all for their support in my various endeavours. Nonetheless KODAK-ing lives on and we have until midnight tomorrow to continue with GUESS WHERE. Thereafter, on Sunday, 24 Aug I am declaring it OPEN WEEK. This means that members can cover any theme they wish so long as the pics are genuine and original. Just to recap on some of the themes weve done in the past : SUNRISES/SUNSETS, MOUNTAINS, BRIDGES, CITIES/TOWNS, SIGNAGES, RIVERS, WATERFALLS, BEACHES, RESORTS & HOTELS, FAVAOURITE PLACES & THINGS, CARS, FOOD PLACES/RESTAURANTS, SHOPPING MALLS, FLORA.FAUNA, FOOD and so many others that I just cant seem to remember. So with that I bid everyone adieu and would like to remind everyone that Aasia Deedat Mahomed and Maymoona Pookie Minty who Ive recently appointed are my co-admins on the page and will monitor proceedings to make sure all runs smoothly.
