We live in a performance oriented society and so showing off what you can do is a popular attraction but no always for audiences. But as we see all over the web, ability and expression are learned separately. Multitasking with a social media is a way to show performance abilities without making any useful output/product/artifact. Can Social media cause large numbers of people to become aware of their behavious and shift their attention to what becomes common challenges and goals? I think so.
