Then (1989) and now (2012, after Daves shoulder surgery, hes fine now!). Its amazing that we are so many versions of ourselves as people, from the external representations of physical attributes and style to the internal, ever-evolving self, mind, brain, body and soul. As I look at Dave, I see, as my friend Tamar put it, all the men hes been wrapped up in the one he is now, too. Im sure he sees the same in me. Such a poignant journey. Have a wonderful day.
