Then Moses said to Him, If Your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here. How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and Your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and Your people from all the other people on the face of the earth? ~ Exodus 33:15-16 This passage makes a very good point. Here Moses is speaking to God, yet this still applies to us. As Christians today, we can ACT and LOOK as good and spiritual as we like - but we are still human. We have flaws, slip-ups, and mistakes are made all the time! We can try all we want, but without God infused into and having an active role in every part of our lives, we are really no different to nonbelievers at all. Its the presence of God that makes all the difference.
