"Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and satan standing at his right side to accuse him." Zechariah 3:1. Satan is called "The Accuser" of the children of God and he accuses us in three ways: 1) Through people. He inspires human accusers to use their voice to share his inspiration and deception. He looks for vulnerable vessels to use for his purposes. 2) In our minds. He brings messages of confusion; brings to remembrances past failures; tries to inspire guilt and condemnation; and tries to move us into self-condemnation. This is dangerous because when your own heart condemns you then your battle becomes internalized and self-perpetuating. "For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things." 1 John 3:20. 3) Before God. He tries to block our prayers and cause delay. God has promised, however, that we will overcome all his accusations: "Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: "Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ. For the accuser of our brothers, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death." Revelation 12:10-11. Stand strong, pray and declare the blood of Jesus Christ over your mind as you guard your mouth from negative confessions. God is more powerful than your accusers. When you resist the devil by faith, he will flee from you. Kingdom Declaration: There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
