Then those who feared the LORD talked often one to another; and the LORD listened and heard it, and a book of rememberance was written before him of those who reverenced and worshipfully feared the LORD and who thought on his name. And they shall be Mine, says the LORD of Hosts, in that day when I publicly recognize and openly declare them to be my jewels. And I will spare them, as a man spares his own son who serves him. -Malachi 3:16-17 AMP The book of rememberance is closely connected with the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. God is rememebering those who fear him and reverence him, because there is a day coming that will bring with it destruction and wrath. So before that day God will make up his jewels his prize possession. He will make them up by gathering them together and the LORD himself will descend with a SHOUT, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trump of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first and we who are alive will be caught up in the air and so shall we ever be with the LORD. #Hesmakinguphisjewels
