Theorem: All natural numbers can be expressed within 11 English words. Proof: Assume there are some natural numbers that cannot be expressed within 11 English words, then there must be a number that is the smallest among such numbers; however, we can express it with “the smallest natural number that cannot be expressed within eleven words” which is a description with 11 words, contradicting to the assumption that that number cannot be expressed within 11 words. Therefore the Theorem above is true. I came up with this according to an idea from a thread on a Chinese social website. I havent found anything wrong in the logic but it seems that the theorem doesnt sound so correct. Anyway this is quite interesting.
