There IS a God!! Its been a very expensive few months for CAMO. The vet bills from May- July 18th total $5475.70! Ive taken in many sick and injured dogs with broken legs, etc. I got the bill for this WEEK and it is $1774!! That includes treating the blind deaf, Poodle for bad ear infection, cleaning and removing teeth, and removing a growth on his eye; itty bitty boy with botched neuter job from the shelter that was severley infected; Delia with heart worms; Smokey with a tumor, heart worms and tick fever; and fixing Crystals crushed hip. So again today, I received 2 wonderful and TOTALLY unexpected donations to Camo in the mail with the vet bill lol. God IS GOOD! Many animals have been saved these last few months, but I cant do it without YOUR help! I have another dog needing surgery and 3 more senior dogs coming that will need vetting. I also have a family of 5 being treated for Distemper at Tall City vet and several dogs who have been treated by Dr Lide at University Animal Clinic this week whose invoices are not reflected in these totals . I am not yet a 501c3 and anything not donated comes out of our pocket. I feel blessed to be able to do rescue full time but also with that comes much stress and many sleepless nights as I wonder how I will be able to continue to afford saving these babies!
