There are 2 entities that offer pensions to their employees. The GOA and NBA. I think the NBA scheme is on hold following the bank crisis. That leaves us with a full 90 percent of Anguillas work force for the past 30 years with out any financial stability into their waning years. If you look around you will see a grayin population that cant afford to bless their grand children with neither time or money. Our young qualified generation is leaving the island because the older generation is not vacating position. The not so qualified youth are staying at home unemployed because menial labor position are occupied by migrant labour. Our safe zones of small businesses that were escape avenues and now occupied by Chinese. The no pension issue is only exacerbated by The out of control cost of living. The cancer rates are mind boggling. The health care system cannot cope. Real issue fi real.
