There are 7 different kinds of twins.Most of us may not be familiar with this fact but it is true.These different types are Identical,Fraternal,Half-Identical,Mirror Image Twins, Mixed Chromosome Twins, Superfecundation and Superfetation.Usually, except the first two kinds are others are very rare to occur.The Identical twins are the ones which inhibit different personalities from each other.Although they come fro the same sperm and egg but there are certain variations in their DNA. However, they do exhibit similar brain patterns and unique fingerprints pattern. The Identical twins have different fingerprints.Mirror image twins are identical twins but only in a way that their reflection in the mirror is the identical image of each other. The most common example that can be given is that one is right handed and the other is left handed.
