There are a few things you dont skimp on, heres the list so far; 1. Wallets( after 15 years, its time to retire the poor guy). 2. An EDC knife or multi-tool ( my CRKT weird folding knife has gone 5 years without being sharpened, and still doesnt need it, but Im shopping around anyway, and my custom Leatherman micro is still mint after 2 years of abuse. 3. Watches (soon to upgrade my NTTC watch, its a champ but has serious wear from CSR and cafeteria tables). 4. Shoes, you wear them everyday, lets get real, I overpronate like crazy. 5. Mattresses, once again, it sees naps like Paul Rudd plays the same character in every movie. And 6. Sunglasses, my Gascans are covered in various overspray from guitars and barn paint and grinding slag, and my Spys saw enough CSR combat at NTTC to rival Alexandrias residency (this is inside, I know, but use your imagination). The bottom line is this, you get what you pay for. Put a down payment on the little things, it helps in the long run. Dont even get me started on bass/guitar stuff....
