There are all kinds of blogs, and many definitions for the different types of blogs. The definition for me of a personal blog is one that tells a story, a personal story. It doesn’t matter how the story is told, by words, pictures, video, artwork, audio, or combination of all of them. Its about sharing with the reader. It’s about being personal, not distant with the reader. read me between the lines... A pure Filipina I am, a Blogguer/ Poetess/ Writer. Im an Asian born and raised in Philippines. I am a Louisian. Being a Filipino is always my pride. Tranquility...touch of inner Soul -- thats who I am. A Soul searcher. People who read me says Im A Soul - Poetess. Like the waves of the sea dancing with the bliss of the wind, my poems sway harmoniously with their rhythm. Poetry, in a general sense, may be defined to be “the expression of the imagination”. In my view, the three elements to poetry are Thought, Creativity and Expression. It is these three elements that form Poetry and define a Poet. It is with such a philosophy and intent that I write my poetry. For me, my blog is poetic. I write my poems like I sculpt… with bits and pieces. A well-told poetic story that is visual, emotional, and features a great climax, a powerful point in the poem that combines art, passion and style. If there is one single thread binding my way together of who I am and what I become and that is the way of Mastery of being a real woman who consists in doing one’s BEST. The strength of a woman is not measured by the impact that all her hardships in life have had on her, but the strength of a woman is measured by the extent of her refusal to allow those hardships to dictate her and who she becomes. I love those who can smile in trouble, who can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection. So dont be afraid of your fears. Theyre not there to scare you.
