There are few instances in life when a physical location truly becomes part of who you are..... Last night the 99 restaurant in Guilderland, unfortunately had to close its doors for good. I am so proud to have worked in an establishment that so quickly cultivated family. From the moment I started work there almost 9 years ago I have built some of the strongest relationships of my life and I have seen the type of bonding and comraderie normally reserved for Hollywood movies. From events as grand as Megstrong night to the mundane practice of just getting through one more rough Sunday shift, never have I seen a place that could survive, and albeit thrive, driven primarily by this value of family. Friends old and new, it is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to the Guilderland 99, Ill never forget the time I had there and Im proud to say I will continue to work beside everyone who has been relocated throughout 99 New York. We have excellent leadership and I look forward to many more years of the same great culture. Heres to family, old, new and still growing. Thank you so much for the memories.
