There are lots of posts and people calling for peace, as the whole nation awaits the verdict of the 2012 Election Petition. But we must all know that, peace can NEVER happen unless justice is provided. Peace is a theoritical concept which MAY NOT come to reality. Neither does it mean the absence of war, it is simply a state of the mind. Justice exists, and it balances the acts of every being. It is indeed very essential to a well ordered society. Justice is more important than peace, and the threat of violence SHOULD NOT be made as a tool to impose injustice. Peace without justice is shallow, and CANNOT sustain for long. Prophet Mohammed said "GIVE EVERYBODY THEIR RIGHT". From his hadith, what he means is that, peace cannot be achieved if the weak are forced to give up their rights and accept injustice as the only choice. Psalm 82:3 says "GIVE JUSTICE TO THE WEAK AND THE ORPHAN; MAINTAIN THE RIGHT OF THE LOWLY AND THE DESTITUDE." Now, is there any life more precious and important than the other?
