There are many people whom believe that the Democratic Party is a strong defenders of civil liberties. The reality of the matter is that they are not. It is the Democratic Party that supports speech codes on College Campuses, it is the Democratic Party that threatens news organizations if the report a story that is not favorable to their party, interests or member. It is the Democratic Party that has no respect for religious speech, conscience or worship. And it is the Democratic Party that has no respect for freedom of association, campaign speech, gun rights or the Bill Of Rights. The modern Democratic Party is not Democratic. It is progressive/socialist.
