There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the LORD’s counsel—that will stand. (Proverbs 19:21) Our God reigns supreme. What are the exciting things on your heart today? Sometimes when we feel we have things totally covered, he has a totally different plan for us. At other times, we may decide to give up only for Him to answer a long-awaited prayer. Similarly, people may sit in counsel to destroy us and be so sure they have every detail covered but our God is able to confound them and disappoint their expectations. Unknown to us, He delivers us everyday from several evil schemes. The admonition here is to acknowledge His sovereignty. When we make our elaborate plans for the various aspects of our lives, the final piece of the puzzle is to commit those plans to God and ask for His ultimate purpose to stand. May Gods divine counsel bring you to a place of fulfillment this year. Youre blessed indeed!
