There are many things about this article that get to me, as both a writer and as a human being, however the total lack of journalistic integrity tops the list. This authors particular style of writing does not belong anywhere except on a personal blog. I find it very disappointing when a publication publishes pieces such as this. Not only is it insulting to readers of all races and classes, it provides no information that is either verifiable or useful. The sole purpose is to spread the writers own personal frustrations and prejudices, which as I mentioned before, only belongs in a personal blog (or diary for that matter). On behalf of myself and my peers who still believe we have a responsibility to our readers, I apologize for this particular blight on our profession.
