There are many things that Bob and I get to do in the path that we walk. Some are fun, others are hard. Some come with great purpose known and understood. Others are difficult in another way, a way we will not likely understand this side of our eternal journey and maybe not even then. Yesterday we stood by with two of our courageous folks all day as they went through the ordeal of saying hello to their prematurely born child and then 15-20 minutes later said goodbye. I felt great honor in being included in this life passage experience. As I stood beside and watched this mom and dad instill into the tiny little guy all the love they felt, knowing this would be it......until then, my heart swelled many times with the wonder of what God has called us to do. I stand amazed in his presence......and there truly are no words.......It is just GRACE.......and I believe he is now saving a place for us.....so we will see you then sweet boy.
