There are mountains in all our lives that loom at times before us as we walk our path. Mountains can be our sorrows, our sickness, our fears and pain, our uncertainties in life or just anything that attempts to deter us and keep us from walking forward and over them, making us weary, discouraged and afraid, causing us to want to give and turn around. Sometimes we look up at them and decide to camp out at the foot of that mountain, going no further and letting it become all we view. This is when we need to declare, I will lift my eyes to MY MAKER, for help for the mountains that I cannot on my own strength climb. Gods word and His promises to us are true and certain, we just need to place our faith in them and cry out and He hears our prayers and comes to our aid to get over them. I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth. He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade on your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore Psalm 121.
