There are no American soldiers fighting in Ukraine. That must be true, because the American government says so. I must say, it is a bit odd that this Ukrainian soldier, wearing a Ukrainian uniform, and carrying an AK-47 variant of some sort has such a good American accent! He sounds at least as American as I do. Its also odd he spoke English to a reporter who was speaking to him in Ukrainian. I guess he is just showing off, because he certainly could not be ignorant of his own native language. Enough joking. Why is the US so desperate to start a war with Russia? Do they want a nuclear war? That would certainly be a good excuse for the federal government to assume the power to do just about anything, to just about anybody, regardless of the laws. As if they dont anyway. They are only cautious about violating the rights of anyone too well known, or doing it to too many people. Aside from that, imprisonment without charges, or trial are happening right here in America. The isolation of Russia does not go well. The US has shot itself in the foot, or maybe the dollar. Reportedly Russia is doing a brisk oil sales business, and buying anything it wants with currencies other than the dollar. Rather than selling gold to defend the Ruble, they are emptying their coffers of Treasury bonds, and such, and using the proceeds to buy gold. That really gives the feds, and the fed a twist in their shorts. More, and more countries are following Russias lead, doing international business in their currencies, and those of other nonUS countries. The isolation of Russia, and Iran have been a disaster for the foreign reserve status of the US dollar.
