There are no days more loved to Allah for you to worship Him therein than the ten days of Dhul Hijjah. Today (Tues 15th Nov) is Arafat Day (9th of Dhul Hijjah) the main Hajj day. When all those performing Hajj gather in the open at Arafat and Praise Allaah, Shed Tears and Seek Forgiveness and Ask for their Needs. *Make time to Pray to Allaah: •Occupy the day in Zikr (Remembering Allaah) Increase repetition of SubhaanAllaah (Glory be to Allaah), Alhamdulillaah (All Praise be to Allaah), Allaahu Akbar (Allaah is The Greatest), Laa ilaahaa il-lal-laah (There is None worthy of worship besides Allaah) & Astaghfirullaah Seeking sincere forgiveness. •Seeking change in ones life - •Ask for Blessings, Guidance and Protection. •Make as many Duaas (requests) for your needs from the heart no matter how trivial, and for others especially those suffering. In particular between Asr and Maghrib. Read TAKBEER OF TASHREEQ Men should read it at least loud enough to hear, from FAJR of ARAFAT DAY (9th Dhul Hijjah - Mon 14 Oct) after Every FARZ Salaah until ASR of 13th Dhul Hijjah (Fri 18 Oct) (women only need to read it softly): Allaahu Akbar, Allaahu Akbar, Laa ilaaha il-lAllaahu, WAllaahu Akbar Allaahu Akbar, Wa Lil-laahil-hamd (Allaah is the Greatest, Allaah is the Greatest, there is non to worship but Allaah; Allaah is the Greatest, and to Allaah be all praise), The best of invocations on the day of Arafat is the 4th Kalimah: Laa ilaahaa il-lal-laahu wah-dahu laa shareekalahu, Lahul mulku, walahul hamdu, Yuh-yi wa yu-meetu biyadihil khayr. Wahuwa alaa kul-li shay-in qadeer [There is none worthy of worship except Allaah alone, He has no partners, All Sovereignty is His, All Praises are for Him, And He has power over All things] (Tirmidhi) Other things one can recite: Hajj Talbiyyah 100 times: Lab-bayka Allaah-humma Lab-bayk, Lab-bayka Laa Shareeyka Laka Lab-bayk, In-nal Hamda Wan-ni-mata Laka wal Mulk Laa Shareeyka Lak (I am present, O Allaah I am present. I am present, No partner have You, I am present. Surely All Praises are to You and All Bounties have been given by You and Sovereignty belongs to You No partner have You) Durood 100 times (send praise and blessings upon Prophet Muhammad s.a.w) Surah Ikhlaas 100 times Qul huwAllaahu ahad Allaahus samad Lam-yalid, walam yoolad Walam yakool-lahoo, koofoowan Ahad (Say, He is Allaah the One, Allaah the Self Sufficient, He is not an offspring, nor has He any offspring, And none is comparable to Him) May Allaah accept everyones efforts and may we reap the most from these precious blessed days.
