There are no doubt friends here who have a burning question running through their minds that I think I can answer today. The question is this: Can a 4-year-old BELCH loud enough for an entire church to hear it during the Pastors sermon? The answer, dear friends, is a resounding Yes! Yes, they can! (I put BELCH in CAPS above to attempt a visual of the actual sound the entire church heard.) Just know that if you ever have to experience such an event, and if you happen to be holding said 4-year-old in your lap when the transgression occurs, as I was, you WILL have a hard time convincing the rows full of giggling people around you that it was, in fact, the child and not you. Really. (The church should have known it wasnt me [Paul]. I save my best trucker burps for the invitation at the end of the church service.) As for the 4 year old? She took it in stride with a sheepish smile as the church took a break from the Pastors fine sermon to focus on the source of the sound that pierced the air for one brief, and memorable, moment. Well write a book some day of our adventures. This will be in it. :-)
