There are people in a bit of a stir about the statement that we only use 10% of our brains featured in trailers for the upcoming movie Lucy. Sometimes I think when people discover that a statement is false, and see it again elsewhere, particularly in big media, they get caught up in this Gotcha! moment where they forget that the rest of the movie involves a woman who can screw with the universe on a whim. They go onto complain about how thats absurd and we use all of our brains, blah blah blah. The 10% bit is just a convenient premise to develop part of the story on. The movie uses the countdown to the unlocking of the rest of the untapped percentage to build suspense. tl;dr Some people just need to calm down.
