There are people who dont make much of an effort to be in your life...they expect you to be the one to reach out every time, or they dont answer their phone, or they insist on misunderstanding you when they havent actually taken the time to know whats going on with you...there are even people who like to fabricate elaborate stories that are nowhere even close to being truthful and gossip just because they are seething with jealousy...there are people who wont forgive, not realizing theyre only hurting themselves. And then there are people who come into your life and really want to know you...who wont make a judgment if they havent spoken to you about the situation...who fiercely protect you, teach you, listen, and answer the phone, reach out, and have an accurate idea of what is actually going on in your life. They point out the positive and only mention the negative when trying to be helpful. They know we are all on the same level just on different paths. Some people only have one or two of these kind of friends in a lifetime...I have many. Just because I cant see you as often as I would like doesnt mean you mean any less to me. Im so lucky! They make really hard weeks like this one a little more manageable. Grateful
