There are quite a few believers in God who dont like when atheists talk about God. And this is precisely why atheist should talk about the idea of God, a lot. Ideas that arent critically explored tend to be breeding grounds for dangerous, wrongheaded, progress restricting notions. God is a very prevalent idea in most of our societies. But as prevalent as the idea is in its acceptance, it is rarely ever examined. But its an idea that commonly drives policy for all of us. If believers wont critically examine the idea of God, then we atheist must, and will. And well have these discussions in the open, so all can participate, and benefit, because it matters to ALL of us.
