There are so many different refugee groups and asylum seeker groups on Face book, full of people that genuinely care. but...Sadly only a few people like this page, The Citizen X Disclosures yet it is a page written BY PEOPLE INSIDE DETENTION CENTRES. Please like it. They get very limited amount of internet time and they dedicate themselves to telling us, the world about the conditions they are in. We repost it and let them know Australia cares by listening to them. Lets UNITE and listen to asylum seekers speak in their own words. Show your moral support for their bravery in doing this. Help spread the information they post. Like comments to show you have read and understood posts. Like the page to show them that there are people in Australia that care... Like the page to give them hope of an Australia that will accept them once they get out of there. There must be a spark of hope. The clouds are greyest before the beautiful rain....that is what I said today to a young man very sad about being moved from Christmas Island to either Nauru or Manus. We can only offer hope to them... meanwhile, in our other activist ventures, we must push ahead with the task of re-educating the public and encouraging the government to change its policy. But for now... just like their page... and share it, and offer hope in positive comments. It is about survival right now. Just be there as a number that listens, be counted, as one of the people that will stand up beside them to support their cry for humanity, even if you just do that, that is a worthwhile contribution and greatly appreciated. Everyone needs someone to listen to them, and these people are even being denied the proper mental health treatment that they desperately need.
