There are so many factors to take into account when one starts a business...my best advice... 1. Chose your bank well, You cant start a new business without your bank behind you. Nedbank - you guys have been and are absolutely amazing. 2. Find an insurance company who understands your business. Without sharing the risk in equal parts, it will be an unbearable burden on both sides - Galileo Risk (Barringtons)- Thank you for coming to the party and carry us through thick and thin. 3. Accounting Company - Pastel, between you and the link with Nedbank, you made an unbreakable link for us as a business. 4. Pic your clients for their integrity. Treat them with the same respect that you would like to receive from them. Not too many, but just enough not to have all your eggs in the same basket. 5. Understand that you are only as good as what your staff is. You will always get more out of people if they know their worth... 6. Do everything with passion. If their is no passion there is no purpose...
