There are so many places, big and small, far and wide, that cry for justice. Places youd never turn and look. Places and people you pass by without a glance. Things unseen under layers and in dark corners, or hidden in plain sight, behind bright light. At the very end, the author adequately summarizes and quotes writer Ted Oswald, “…my humanity is tied up with your humanity. It says that if a part of the community is suffering, then I am suffering. Solidarity means if I am higher, I lower myself, so that you may be lifted up and we can stand together.”
