There are so many sad stories about Fukushima, about all the heartache that the nuclear industry has caused, on both sides of the Pacific Ocean. It is our understanding based on soldier testimony, that soldiers aboard the US Ship Reagan who received a direct nuclear plume hit after Fukushima initially exploded all had to sign waivers saying they would not sue the US government/military if they got sick. During that time they were allowed no outside communication with their friends or family and as the famous pictures show, they were not protected in any way when they were cleaning the decks, the worst affected initially was the man who was charged with taking down the american flag. He was told to take it down so that it could be given to Japan as a good will gesture -wonder if it was still given to Japan after this happened to him? Anyway, he did as he was told and this is what has happened to him since. Watch both stories if you can. If not, just fast forward to his testimony. One solider that we are aware of had a baby that was born with major problems. There are many sailors who brought a lawsuit against TEPCO since since they couldnt bring a suit against their own gov because they all had to sign waivers saying they would not do it. But guess what? According to their testimony, while their superiors were saying it is all fine, they were in private taking pills to protect their thyroids. Guess what the lower ranks got. Nothing. It was found out because Maurice, the guy who speaks here was close to his supervisor. His supervisor asked him caringly, did you remember to take your pill. He said what pill? Thats how it was found out what was going on. youtube/watch?v=AMdTNVEaejY
